TeAchnology!
TeAchnology! events provide MU instructors with the opportunity to learn about and explore various educational technology tools in a fully supported, hands-on learning environment. Through a combination of discussion, training, and showcases faculty will develop pedagogically sound methods and strategies for incorporating educational technology into teaching.
TeAchnology! Weeklong Workshop
Monday, June 22 - Friday, June 26
Candidates: TeAchnology! workshop participants are selected through a highly competitive application process. Ideal candidates are full-time faculty or graduate instructors with a primary teaching appointment who are eager to apply new and innovative teaching strategies, and have a firm foundation in technology/computing. Preference is given to applicants who teach key, or large enrollment courses.
The workshop balances group discussions and individual work sessions focusing on innovative solutions to teaching and learning challenges. Group discussions allow faculty to share teaching and learning challenges and exchange ideas and solutions with one another and ET@MO staff. Work sessions allow faculty to work on their specific project through analysis, selection, and deployment of appropriate technologies with individual support from ET@MO staff.
Sessions will be planned after the participants have been selected. Sessions will reflect overall needs and interests of the participants.

Comments from Past Participants
"Thanks to all the instructors and administrators of this program for offering this great opportunity to learn and experience this technology. I will use most of what I learned immediately."
"I think the experience has energized my desire to teach, to try new instructional strategies and to take a hard look at the course design. I'm giving careful attention to assignments, trying to not overdo the numbers. I also see ways I can give students immediate feedback - something they really appreciate. Don't we all?"
"This week was extremely helpful. I cannot wait to implement the new technologies into my courses!"
"I was impressed with the coherence of the workshop, which I believe in part arises from the cohesiveness of the ET@MO staff."
