Request, or renew accounts for Spring '09 semester

Faculty using Blackboard, and clickers in their courses during the Spring semester need to request or renew their accounts. Faculty using e-Portfolios need to contact ET@MO directly. Complete information and online request forms are available at http://courses.missouri.edu.

Introducing the TeAchnology! Conference

Mark your calendars for April 21, 2009 to attend the first TeAchnology! in conference-style format. This one-day event will include concurrent sessions on how to effectively incorporate various campus-supported technologies into your teaching. More information and registration coming soon.

A studio of your own

The ET@MO Technology Studio is open to all MU instructors to work on technologies in their on-campus and online courses. Faculty may work in the Technology Studio alone or with a staff member for assistance with their educational technology needs. The Studio has open hours every Thursday from 1:00 - 3:00. The annual Excellence in Teaching with Technology Awards recognize faculty, staff, graduate instructors and teaching assistants who use technologies effectively and demonstrate excellence in teaching. MU faculty, staff and students are eligible to submit nominations prior to March 31, 2009. Find out more, and submit nominations online.

Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic (RFB&D), a national nonprofit, volunteer organization, is the leading accessible audiobook library for students with disabilities such as visual impairment or dyslexia that make reading standard print difficult or impossible.

Proving the benefits of peer instruction
The University of Colorado at Boulder has gone clicker crazy. Thousands of its undergraduate students own the electronic devices, which instructors across the campus use to gauge how well students are grasping the material in their courses.
