Last chance to submit nominations for Excellence in Teaching with Technology award
The deadline to nominate someone for ET@MO's annual Excellence in Teaching with Technology Awards is March 31. The awards are presented in four categories: undergraduate teaching, graduate teaching, staff support, and graduate instructor/teaching assistant. MU faculty, staff and students are eligible to submit nominations. Self nominations are also accepted. To find out more, and submit nominations go to ET@MO's web site.
7 Things You Should Know About QR CodesNamed for their ability to offer a "Quick Response," QR codes are two-dimensional bar codes that can contain any alphanumeric text, such as a phone number or URL. The codes are increasingly found in places such as product labels, billboards, and buildings, inviting passers-by to pull out their reader-enabled mobile phones and uncover the encoded information.
