Transformation... and Living to Tell About It

You are cordially invited to attend an Academic Transformation Showcase featuring five faculty luminaries from around campus who have successfully navigated the waters of academic transformation.  Hear how they designed and implemented course redesign to affect change in their department. Mark your calendars to attend the event Wednesday, September 12 from 1:00-2:30 in Memorial Union's Stotler Lounge. This session will inspire and motivate!

7 things you should know about Twitter

It is designed to let users describe what they are doing or thinking at a given moment in 140 characters or less. As a tool for students and faculty, Twitter could be used academically to foster interaction and support metacognition. Download the PDF of this full article. This information is provided by the EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative's (ELI's) 7 Things You Should Know About… series which provides concise information on emerging learning technologies and related practices.
