New website assembles Mizzou’s top resources for online learning

Instructors using teaching technologies or looking to incorporate something new will soon be book marking http://elearning.missouri.edu in their favorite web browser. The new site is designed to provide Mizzou with an active and dynamic community space to share ideas, solutions, and strategies for teaching with technology. Additionally, this new site is intended to

  • Provide a topical interface for users to sort, search, and collect content (articles, case studies, technical documentation, blog entries, etc.)
  • Collect and disseminate higher education and technology news from around the web
  • Create convergence between other ET@MO resources including the Teaching Toolbox, the Tips and Tricks monthly e-newsletter, student and faculty help documentation, The Innovator, and other (relevant) campus outlets
  • Collect and disseminate case studies and personal narratives of faculty using technology (“in their own words”)

The new website also connects to a new multidisciplinary blog including ET@MO staff, departmentally-based Academic Technology Liaisons, e-mentors, and other faculty or support staff from across campus engaged in teaching with technology.
